Are You Ready to Cross?

Two trees. One throne. One choice.
Two trees. One throne. One choice.

Two Trees. One Throne. One Choice. Four Challenges.

This is not a sign-up page. It is a threshold.

You are here because something brought you here. Perhaps you read The Refit. Perhaps a single line landed somewhere specific and you followed the signal before you could talk yourself out of it. Perhaps a friend or a stranger asked you "What's Better Today?" and you responded, "er, what?" Perhaps the ache has simply been loud enough, long enough, that you ended up here.

Either way: before you go any further, read what follows. Not the questions yet. This first.

Before You Sign Up

The Insiders Challenge is a series of Challenges, each one month long, taken in order, because that's how they actually work.

You don't need the whole map before you take the first step. You need the first step.

Challenge 1 is The Refit.

It is free. All of it. The book, the workbook for your season, and The Refit Challenge itself, a day-by-day guided version of the same six guides, walked alongside a real person, your Handler.

This is deliberate. We want you to know what this actually feels like before you ever consider what it costs, or what comes next. The Refit Challenge is not a free trial in the marketing sense. It is the real thing, complete in itself.

The Refit: Come to Me. Leave the Lies Behind
She was losing a fight with an algorithm. And the algorithm had no idea she existed.

What Comes After Challenge 1?

The Four Challenges

Challenge 1 is free, and complete in itself. You don't need to know what comes after it to begin.

But if you want to see the whole shape of the road before you take the first step, here it is.

1️⃣
UnStuck Your Potential
What is running me?
The Refit: Come to Me, Leave the Lies Behind
You cannot build a new life on the same soil that grew the old one. This is where you find out what's actually been running underneath the performance, and how to choose differently. Free. All of it.
2️⃣
UnMask Your Identity
Who am I, really?
Who Are You? There Can Be Only One
Most people build an identity out of what they do and call it who they are. This Challenge takes that apart, carefully, and shows you what was underneath it the whole time.
3️⃣
UnLock Your Performance
What have I actually been given?
What Is That in Your Hand?
Response-ability. Account-ability. The things everyone claims to want and quietly avoids, unless they're buzzwords on a LinkedIn profile. This Challenge is where you actually pick them up.
4️⃣
UnCover Your Purpose
What am I actually for?
What Are You Here For?
Not a job. Not a five year plan. The thing your own story has been pointing at the whole time, if you know how to read it.

Each Challenge is a month. Each one builds on the one before it. You don't skip ahead, because the ground has to be prepared before anything planted in it will hold.

You don't need the whole map memorised. You just needed to know it's real, and that it ends somewhere.

What This Is

The Insiders Challenge is built on the Performance to Purpose Framework: a Jesus-centred identity and purpose framework. That is not a footnote. It is the foundation. The Kingdom told us first. Neuroscience just confirms it.

You will be called an Apprentice. Your mentor is your Handler. The daily practice runs on a five-step protocol called PCPCR: Pause, Cause, Pray, Choose, Review, worked through across each week, a few minutes most days. Not a punishing streak to maintain. A practice to return to.

This is what it requires: honesty, daily practice, a willingness to be wrong about yourself, a willingness to surrender the operating system that produced your current life. Not all at once. One day at a time.

This is what it is not: self-help, optimisation, coaching dressed in theological language, a programme that works with occasional, passive engagement.

Your Handler is a real person, not an automated response. Some parts of the journey are self-guided by design, so the daily practice can actually become yours. Your Handler is present throughout, watching, and will reach out directly if it looks like you need them to, not only when you ask.

What the Daily Practice Actually Looks Like

This is the part most systems skip. They describe the outcome and leave the daily reality vague. Here is what the daily reality looks like.

Each week moves through the same five steps, one at a time, one per day. Not all five in one sitting. That's deliberate, and we won't explain exactly why here. It's best learned by doing it, and once you've experienced it, you'll understand why more formation isn't built this way.

Some days ask you to write. Some days ask only that you read something and sit with it. Every day takes a few minutes, not an hour.

By the end of each Challenge, your own reflections are not a record of your thinking. They are a record of your formation. The early entries and the later entries will not sound like the same person. That is the point.

Why Listen to a Boomer Uncle?

Because I survived the machine you're in, whichever version of it you've got.

I started working at fifteen, scrubbing behind the deep fryer in a greasy spoon kitchen. For forty years I chased exactly what you want right now: the money, the recognition, the fabulous car, the first-class seat. I chased it until it broke my heart. I have the scars to prove it.

I'm not telling you to stop striving. You were built to strive. I'm telling you to strive for the right things.

The Three Objections

Most people who arrive at this page and do not cross the threshold leave for one of three reasons. Name yours honestly.

"I am too busy." Most days take a few honest minutes, not an hour, and Challenge 1 costs you nothing to try. If you cannot find a few minutes in a day, the issue is not the calendar. It is what the calendar is for. That is exactly what Challenge 1 addresses.

"I am too far gone." Nobody crosses the Gap from a position of strength. The Wall is hit at the limit of self-reliance, which means everyone who arrives at this threshold arrives exhausted. That is not a disqualifier. It is the entry condition.

"I am not sure I believe enough." The Insiders Challenge is Jesus-centred. It does not require you to arrive with settled theology. It requires honesty and a willingness to follow the next right thing. The Apprentice who arrives uncertain and honest will form more quickly than the one who arrives certain and defended.

Now: The Questions

These are for you to sit with before you begin. Read them slowly. Do not answer them here. Answer them honestly, inside yourself.

There is no score. There is no right answer. There is only what is true.

When did achievement stop quieting the ache? Not whether it did. When.

What are you afraid would happen if you stopped performing? Not what you think would happen. What you are afraid would happen.

Are you exhausted from trying to prove your worth: to yourself, to others, to God? If the answer is genuinely no, this is probably not your moment. Come back when it is yes.

Where are you most exhausted from maintaining an image? At work. At home. At church. Online. In the mirror. Name it, even if only to yourself.

Are you willing to question the operating system that built your current life? Not to destroy what you have built. To find out who you were building it for.

Do you suspect the ache is not failure, but invitation? If something in you says yes, even quietly, even reluctantly: that is enough to begin.

If one of those landed somewhere specific and uncomfortable: that is the signal. Not a warning. A signal.

If none of them landed, this may not be your moment. That's alright. Come back if the ache becomes harder to ignore. It usually does.

Start Where You Actually Are

Challenge 1 is The Refit. It costs nothing. It asks nothing of you except honesty and a few minutes a day.

The Refit: Come to Me. Leave the Lies Behind
It’s 2:47am and you’re still scrolling. There’s a reason. The Refit is six free guides that name it.
